Directly across from the rafting put-in for Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) and other outfitters, you can walk the short trail from the deck to the river and be rafting, kayaking, or fly fishing in a flash. Nearby, you can spend the day on Fontana Lake, take in local waterfalls, or go zip-lining at the NOC's 2 adventure parks. Featuring 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a hot tub, pool table, and an outdoor firepit with plenty of seating, Nantahala Riverside Cabin is the perfect home base for your family or group's next Great Smoky Mountain adventure. Housekeeping / Hot Tub / Amenities Fee $100 Main Floor From the large front deck, you enter into the living room. Featuring a beautiful, stone, gas-burning fireplace, comfortable leather furniture, and a large flat-screen TV, you can rest your bones in front of the fire after taking in all that the surrounding wilderness has to offer. Just off the living room to the left, you will find the dining area with seating for 6, and the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, a double sink, newly installed tile backsplash, and granite countertops. To the right, you will find the king-size master bedroom which features a flat-screen TV, attached full bathroom with a large shower stall and a tub, and direct access to the outdoor hot tub and deck. Additionally, you will find a half-bath and the laundry facilities in the hallway leading to the stairs. 2nd Floor Up the stairs, you will find a nice open landing which leads to the two queen-size guest bedrooms, each with a flat-screen TV and Directv service, as well as a shared full bathroom. Basement Downstairs in the finished basement, you will find the game room which features a pool table as well as two twin beds (can be converted to a king) for additional sleeping. Additionally, there is direct access to the river trail from this level. Outside On the large deck, you will find the hot tub, grill, and a covered seating area with a ceiling fan and Adirondack chairs. Just off the deck, you can gather everyone around the firepit and enjoy all of your favorite treats and beverages while recounting your endless adventures. You can also take in the beautiful surroundings from a wooden platform located right on the river. No matter where you choose to relax, you can enjoy the sound of the river as it washes your cares away. Of course, you can also be in or on the river in about a minute from the comfort of home. Internet Option We offer a portable WIFI Hotspot to guests of this cabin for a small setup fee. Availability of our Hotspot devices is limited and on a first-come basis. Service is limited by cell signal quality and there are usage restrictions, but this device should allow internet access sufficient for casual internet enjoyment. This device must be requested in advance and availability of a device is not guaranteed. See FAQ for further details.**Please note that there is currently a cell signal booster setup in the cabin. However, if you are not a Verizon or Sprint customer, this will not improve your signal, and a Hotspot will be necessary for internet access.**
