Summary: This was one of the best places we stayed while in Portugal for 25 days. Maria was an excellent host and gave us an excellent overview of what to see and do in Porto. She provided us with a welcoming gift of wine and treats that were great and was very responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and included all the spices so we didn't have to buy them. The layout of the room was unique with the table at the foot of the bed but it worked perfectly for us. It had lots of light and fresh air from the balcony/porch area. It was an easy walk to all the sites and just a short walk to the metro station. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. My wife was hesitant to book because it was a VRBO but after staying here and working with Maria we would do it again.
