Positive: The friendliness and helpfulness of Gizela the owner. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was very well equipped. The best thing was the amazing view of Velas and over to Pico. Sao Jorge is a really beautiful unspoilt island with very friendly people.

Negative: Nothing really but be aware that the walk up from town is very steep and the drive down to the property is very steep too. However, the views make up for it. Be aware that Waze and Google try to take you to the bottom of the street, but it is no entry, whereas you need to enter at the top.
