Positive: We had a comfortable, spacious apartment with a balcony giving stunning views along the coast to Paul do Mar and of the sunset. The owners, Patricia and Luis, couldn’t have done more to make our stay special. Such a lovely, interesting couple. Both involved in the arts, they have a beautiful communal main house and garden to which we had access whenever we wanted. We were so interested to find out about Patricia’s art and stories of what life was like growing up in Madeira. All this set in a delightful village.
