It's a property located on the north coast of the island of Sao Miguel at the edge of a splendid cliff on which a small way leads us to a small port (old port of the Whales) where we bath almost all year long (10 min on foot). Quinta da Falésias' houses are surrounded by pastures or trees with an extraordinary sight of Lagoa Fogo (east), of Sete Cidades (west), a line of volcanoes (south) and the Atlantic Ocean (north).
In winter after your excursions you can light the wood stove, make tea and plan, around fire, the adventures of the following day while listening to the waves crushing on the cliff or the strong wind of the Northwest.
In Summer you can have your meals outside, you can lengthen in the sun, play badminton or let you rock in one the hammocks we have
The YellowHouse, one of five villas of Quinta da Falésia, is spacious and comfortable, and it has has two bedrooms with double bed, another bedroom with bunk beds, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchenette, living room with wood burning stove and plenty of outside space to enjoy the magnificent landscape of sea and mountain.
We are 15 km from Ponta Delgada (market of fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, fish, meat, museum, stores, beaches, restaurants, bares, hospital, airport, etc) and at 15 km from Ribeira Grande (beaches, surfing, center of contemporary arts, hot springs, restaurants, etc)
Quinta da Falésia is a family project. It is a very special place. We love to live here, with our 3 lovely dogs Tobias, Puka, Flôr and our beautiful horse Diva and share this small paradise with you.
