Stay in a cute stand-alone cottage surrounded by 20 acres of organic lemons and avocados. Go for long walks, enjoy avocado toast, make lemonade, eat oranges, grapefruit, and tangerines right off the tree. Breath in the fresh air, surrounded by palms, pines, and eucalyptus groves. Walk up the hill to take in the beautiful sunset on the rolling hills overlooking California farmland. Gated community. 1 hour to LA and SB. 30 minutes or less drive to many beaches.
The cottage is one large room (studio) of about 400 square feet of indoor space, perfect for a couple or solo traveler. But most of your time is going to be spent enjoying our 20 acre ranch and surrounding California countryside.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, sink, microwave, and kitchen island with seating area for two people. The main living area has a queen size bed, nightstands, a window bench, a spacious closet, two reclining chairs and a love seat. The outdoor terrace area has a dinning table with seating. There is a playground right outside. Washer and dryer are right outside. Good size bathroom with a shower.
We know that people need to work remotely and high speed internet is a priority. We currently have 100Mbps service going to property and access point on the roof of the cottage.
Hosts live on the property and are available to answer questions or provide support as needed.

Summary: I booked this cottage for my 85-year-old aunt who visited us from abroad. When I first drove into the property, I could not believe my eyes, it were as though I had been transported back to a childhood fairytale. Once the front gates to the property had opened, we were privy to a lemon tree-lined path that led to the cottage--a cottage nestled between lemon trees and flowers. It was absolutely magical. My aunt has not stopped talking about her experience at the orchard, which was more like a vacation within a vacation! Her cottage was wonderful and consisted of a fairly large room that included a comfortable queen-size bed, a small kitchen and sitting area, and a privte bathroom to the side--everything she needed while away. There was no TV, which was not an issue for her but for those who expect a TV, I guess it's just as easy to use one's own electronic devices instead. The cottage was clean, private, and the owners were an arm's reach away in the event she needed anything. They were a delight to talk to, very welcoming and I have already recommended the cottage to another couple visiting in August and will continue doing so. For a couple who wants a romantic getaway--this place is for you too! This vacation rental is a gem and an asset to our area.
