With its unique character and location in the quiet village of Bicesse, Estoril Gourmand Villa is a good holiday villa choice for exploring the Lisbon region and its surrounding area; close to the Estoril A5 motorway exit to Lisbon (20km), a 20 minute drive to Sintra, or a 30 minute walk into to the centre of Estoril, it is the perfect self-catering accommodation for those wishing to explore the Lisbon and surrounding area during their stay, and have all the comfort of a well equipped home with pool.
Within the secure private condominium and its gardens, each villa in the complex is entered directly through its private garden. A beautiful chaise and an exquisite statue of a 1920s bartender welcome guests by the doorstep. The unique feel and decor of this lovely villa spreads throughout the living areas on the ground floor. The entrance hall features another elegant chaise-longe, with daylight pouring directly from the secluded winter garden behind, gracefully decorated with asian and buddhist motives. The living areas boast a large living room with a dining area, opening onto the private garden and the swimming pool via large french doors, facing south and therefore ensuring plenty of natural daylight. The living room is set around the fireplace, and entertainment is provided by the flatscreen TV set with international channels, the DVD player, the hifi stereo system and of course wireless internet access. Across the winter garden is the fully equipped and modern kitchen, which has a small breakfast area. The garden can be accessed from both the living room and the kitchen.
There are three bedrooms on the first floor. The master suite has a large double bed, and opens onto a private terrace which has beautiful countryside views. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and the other two bedrooms (one has a large double bed, the other two single beds) share the second bathroom, which has a jacuzzi bath. All rooms have a large amount of cupboard space, and feature a flat-screen TV set with international channels.
On the garden floor, there is one more bedroom, opening onto a patio. The fourth bedroom has two single beds (which can be converted to a large double bed).
The garden has a lovely lawn facing the house, and of course the 6x3m swimming pool; although small, the pool is bathed in sunshine which makes the water naturally warm. Throughout the garden you will find comfortable pouffs, deckchairs and a tea table, the perfect suntrap to relax after a days’ exploration, or to enjoy a cup of fresh coffee before a round of golf. Over the wooden deck and in a separate shaded area, are a cosy outdoor dining table and a barbecue, the perfect spot for al fresco meals or a nightcap during warm summer nights.
The large driving alley means private parking for at least 2 cars, but parking is also easy and secure within the private condominium. There is easy public transport from the centre of Bicesse to Estoril and Cascais. Within the small condominium there is a lawn area, the ideal place for children to play and socialise.
