This modern and tastefully furnished villa is located in the Vale De Furnas Valley, on Sao Miguel's southern coast, also called "the green island".
The large sliding glass doors in the living room open up to the private sun terrace, furnished with outdoor furniture, sun loungers, a sun shade and a barbecue. Secure car parking is available just in front of the house.
The two storey building, built in 1900, has only recently been renovated (2016) and furnished as a luxury holiday rental. The 80 m² house boasts an open plan living/dining room, a fully loaded kitchen, four bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The living room is located on the ground floor and is furnished with two cosy sofas and two leather armchairs, a wall mounted flat screen television and a dining table and four chairs. There is also a fireplace, offering a cosy atmosphere on cooler days. The adjacent, modern, white kitchen offers a dish washer, a ceran stove with an exhaust hood, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee maker. A staircase leads to the top floor with the bedrooms and bathrooms. Two bedrooms are furnished with two 90 x 200 cm single beds, which can be combined to make a double. The other two bedrooms are furnished with a 160 x 200 cm double bed. The white, tiled bathrooms boast a shower tub or a shower, a sink with a mirror, a hairdryer, a bidet and a toilet. A child's cot and high chair are available. Firewood, towels, bedding and Wi-Fi are included in the rental price.
Upon request, bicycle rental is available.
The villa is about 10 km from a sandy beach (Praia de Fogo). It is 750 m to Furnas, with its shops, a colourful market, cafes and restaurants. It is only 100 meters to the nearest restaurant and a grocery store.
