Villa Casa Das Dunas
Villa Casa das Dunas is a unique holiday home. With its coastal location between the beaches of Salgados and Galé (one of the longest stretches of beach in this part of the Algarve), it is a perfect base to enjoy a relaxing stay with family or friends.
This holiday base consists of one main villa, with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms plus a separate, self-contained annex with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which shares a fabulous outside space with 2 private pools (both heatable as an optional extra) and 2 brick built BBQs.
All the bedrooms have air conditioning and the whole property is comfortable, bright and stylishly decorated. It is ideal for a group of friends or family wishing to holiday together, yet have their own privacy.
The main residence is spread over one floor and consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 of which are double en-suite bedrooms, one with twin beds which is en-suite and one with bunk beds. There is also an additional bathroom. All the bathrooms have walk in showers, apart from one en-suite to one of the double bedrooms which has a bathtub and overhead shower.
The living/dining area is open plan with patio doors from the lounge leading out to the swimming pool, and also patio doors from the dining area leading to the outside. Off of the living room, there is also a small cosy reading room for those quite times of relaxation.
This light and airy property has a well-equipped kitchen with everything you should require during your stay including a dishwasher, oven, hob, coffee maker, kettle and toaster and is adjoining the dining area.
The washing machine and ironing facilities can be found at the laundry area, and also a door leading to the smaller of the 2 swimming pools. From this outside area there is a roof terrace for you to sit and enjoy the stunning sunsets over the ocean.
Separate from the main villa is a completely self-contained annex by the large swimming pool.
This annex consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is spread over 2 floors. When you enter the ground floor you will see the open plan living/dining room which has a separate, self-contained kitchen with its own dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, coffee machine, kettle and toaster amongst everything else you should require.
The ground floor also has one bedroom with a double bed and en-suite shower room. A staircase leads down to the lower floor, where you will find a second seating area, and 2 more bedrooms, furnished with twin beds, one of which has an en-suite shower room and also on this floor is a second shower room.
Both the main villa and the annex have separate entrances yet share the wonderful private swimming pools (heating as an optional extra) set in the green lawned area of the garden. There are two outside showers, one outside toilet and private parking for up to 3 cars. With ample sun loungers on which you will enjoy the gorgeous Algarve weather, the pool area also has 2 built in BBQs for preparing summer grills.
Villa Casa das Dunas is located in Salgados area, just a 10-minute drive from Albufeira.
The Villa is a short walk away from a quality supermarket, pubs and restaurants (including one with 2 Michelin stars) as well as the Salgados Golf Course and Nature Reserve, a natural ecological reserve with a lagoon, wild fauna, flora and pedestrian walkways, one of the main spots for bird watching in their natural habitat.
Other beautiful beaches like Galé, Lourenço or São Rafael, just to name a few, are located within a short walk or drive away.
The town of Albufeira, with its colourful marina, charming old town along the Fishermen's beach and the Strip, all with quality restaurants, pubs and shops, is located within a 10
min drive.
This fantastic and spacious villa is ideal for those who seek a tranquil getaway, away from the busy tourist centres but also just a short drive from all facilities, and a few steps
from the beautiful sandy beaches on the coast.
Plenty of parking space for vehicles is also available on the driveway within the property gates.

The changeover day for this property is Thursday.

Pool Heating will always be an upgrade for your holidays, especially when travelling with children. The temperature of the water when the pool heating is activated will always be between 5ºC and 8ºC higher than if there was no pool heating.
