Positive: Our stay at the Ocean View Garden Retreat was amazing. The place has a unique interior with a lot of character and it felt just as on the pictures. The house is very spacious, comfortable, perfect for relaxing inside or hanging out outdoors. The house has a huge garden where two alpacas and two small horses roam, they are very cute. The ocean view from the balcony is stunning, especially in the morning. There is also a big jacuzzi which is a nice bonus for chilling out. The host was very friendly, easily available when needed and never intrusive. The location is very convenient, close to the airport and hiking areas.

Negative: If I had to mention one small thing, the cleaning could be a bit better, but it didn’t affect our overall impression much.

Summary: A fantastic place to relax and enjoy Madeira — private, spacious, and full of charm.
