Positive: The Villa is really spacious and the pool is amazing. Way bigger, than you'd assume from the pictures. Deborah, the host (not the owner), is very friendly and welcoming. Check-in was uncomplicated. We asked to organize a Shuttle from Krabi Airport and Motorbikes during our stay. That worked out perfectly. The driver picked us up on time (even when our flight was rescheduled a couple of times) and the motorbikes where also delivered to the accommodation. It would have been helpful to know in advance that the bikes must be paid for in cash upon handover and that a (high) deposit also had to be left in cash. No problem at all, but if I had known beforehand, I'd have brought enough money. I drove with the rental guys to the nearest ATM, and the issue was solved. 3 bedrooms, 2 with King size beds and one smaller with a 140cm? bed. The master bedrooms have AC, the smaller one only a fan. We were only two people, so it was perfect for us. Bed was very comfy! Kitchen and living room are combined. no AC in there, but 2 fans. The kitchen is well equipped, but we didn't use it at all. Koh Lanta has more than 600 restaurants, so we ate out exclusively. If you want to use the kitchen, everything should be there: microwave, coffeemaker, big fridge, kettle, and so on. You have an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet and also another toilet next to the pool and an outdoor shower. The villa was clean, and towels and bed linens were provided. Views are stunning. You have a nice sea view right from your balcony and patio. We had some great sundowners in the huge pool area. Really nice. You can also go on the roof terrace, to have even better views. Internet was fast but sometimes the WiFi wasn't available. To fix it, just disable WiFi on your device and enable it again. It will connect again. Checkout was also very nice and uncomplicated.

Negative: Unfortunately, not everything was perfect. The worst part for us was actually the outdoor furniture. The pool furniture is really worn out and should be replaced. The sunbeds were okay, but the (really) small couch and the table are no longer usable. The hanging chair is not safe to use. The furniture on the balcony is okay, but the seat cushions are completely worn out and very uncomfortable. There is a concrete seating area, but no cushions are provided. These are things that could be easily fixed, but they really bothered us. We had a problem with the pool toilet. The door has a button lock. It might have been our mistake, and we accidentally pressed the button, but given how rusty the doorknob is, I'm not sure if it was really our fault. In any case, the door could no longer be opened. Unfortunately, it took 3 days to fix the problem. The indoor toilet was clogged at one time. Not completely, but the water didn't drain properly. I informed Deborah and she sent staff to check it out. They tried really hard to get it fixed and even used a plumbing snake to get rid of the pipe blockage, but came to the conclusion, that it wasn't the toilet at all. It turned out that some roots were causing the clogging. Of course, such things can always happen, but it fits our impression that the house is generally not properly maintained. It cost us several hours of our time, and we could only use the pool toilet for 2 days. This simply should not happen if the building were properly maintained. The bedroom we stayed in had no blinds. This should be fixed. The cameras pointing directly to the pool area were annoying. If you have such trust issues, you shouldn't rent out the property. This might sound bad, but it wasn't at all! We had a great time at Sanuk Villa and we really enjoyed our stay. Some things were just bad luck, other things could be easily improved, to make this a perfect accommodation. I can surely recommend this place!
