Summary: I expected much more for this apartment taking into account the price the host charges. We were asked by the owned before arrival to move to a different apartment claiming that the apartment we will move to is the same as the one we reserved - assuming he is right we expressed no objection but what we found is that the apartment we entered was dirty, the beds and beddings are from the cheapest material (think youth hostel) and very dirty as well. The elevator wasn’t working and the lobby of the building was constantly filled with trash. The apartment has no air condition which in july in Lisbon can be a big issue and you cannot open the windows because the apartment faces a major road. The owned offered us cool airs but these did not help much. The apartment also had bad odor of bugs spray. First conversation with the owner was unpleasant so we just stayed there for the two days and left.
