Positive: The communication with the host was excellent — very responsive, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. When we arrived, there were thoughtful welcome gifts waiting for us (water, juice, chocolates…), which was a lovely touch after a long journey. The house itself was beautiful, spotless and incredibly well-equipped. Everything worked perfectly — from the pool and garage to the three bathrooms, washing machine & dryer, and kitchen appliances. There was plenty of space to store our things, and the beds were super comfortable. We just bought groceries and didn’t miss a thing — cooking, laundry, everything was easy and convenient. The view from the villa is beautiful, and we especially enjoyed relaxing outside on the poolside furniture, which was perfect for unwinding in the evenings. An unexpected bonus: there were even weights and workout equipment, so you could stay active without leaving the house! Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring Madeira. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!
