Positive: Amazing location close to everywhere and set in a beautiful environment with fantastic views of the ocean (we saw whales from our terrace) and the surrounding countryside. Villa so close to all the sites and attractions, the shops, beach, towns etc but also gives you space which is what we wanted. Villa is really spacious and well equipped with everything you need for a long/short stay. Pool was great although a little cold at the time we visited, but very relaxing to sit in sun on sun loungers. Tiago was wonderful, so helpful, couldn’t ask for a better host. So friendly, met us at the property, provided so much advice and immediately sorted us out as fussy Brits asking for mattress toppers as the beds were a bit too hard for us. Tiago and the team are excellent and I’d recommend this villa and their company to anyone that visits Sao Miguel.

Negative: Beds were a little firm for us (but everyone is different) but that was immediately sorted out by Tiago who kindly provided brand new mattress toppers!

Summary: The place to stay on São Miguel island! Absolutely incredible, we will be back!
