Summary: We had a lovely stay, such a quiet and beautiful setting. There are 3 other condos in the row but we were lucky to be the only people staying. The condo is well-equipped and comfortable. The teenagers loved the games room and the pool. We loved the view, watching the birds and walking alongside the pine and olive trees. We found we didnt use the aircon a lot as the accommodation stays at quite a constant temperature so I was happy to cook a few times. If I was to improve anything it would be:The info pack in the property is somewhat lacking, the pages for recommendations on what to do , where to eat etc are blank. E.g. there is no mention of the campsite down the road which is handy for hiring kayaks and paddle boards and has a bar/restaurant. The food there is simple but we found it tasty and the staff friendly. It is the only place in walking distance , great for an ice cream or a beer.We also ate at the Retiro restaurant in Figueiro dos vinhos. Friendly welcome and great steak. They don't do many light meals, except omelettes but what they do , they do well.We went to Dornes, Coimbra and Fragas de São Simão. Enjoyed all our days out and a great meal at Fonte de Cima in Dornes.Other small complaints are....there a quite a few chipped plates and bowls and there is need of a better chopping board, frying pan and there was no bottle opener! We found the mattress in the back double bedroom to be uncomfortable too.All in all a great holiday and we hope to return.
