Positive: The location is wonderful. So quiet and peaceful with a very large garden full of mature trees. Beautful views from the house and everything was maintained really well. The pool was fantastic. Big enough for our family of five and also well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. The bbq and outdoor dining space was perfect and we had some lovely evenings there. Our dog loved the space too and there were no silly extra costs for bringing her with us.

Negative: The house wasn't quite as nice as I expected from the photos. The fridge was quite old looking and the light wasn't working. There was also an extra sofa squashed into the living room that made the space feel cluttered. There was nothing cold to drink (not even a bottle of water) on our arrival which was disappointing as it was 40 degrees and the nearest supermarket was another 20-minutes drive away. In fact, as many others have already mentioned, most holiday rentals provide a few basics, but not here. There were no extra rubbish bags (and the bin was tiny), only 1 dishwasher tablet (for 4 nights), a couple of coffee capsules, no condiments (salt, oil, pepper etc), one dishcloth and one tea-towel (but no washing machine to clean them). we even had to buy toilet rolls. Simple things but they make life easier when you're only staying a short time and the considering the cost, they should be provided.
