Please note that in compliance with the portuguese law, it is absolutely necessary the presentation of an official identification document (passport, identification card) of each and every person (adults, children, babies) at check-in. failing to do so, the check-in won’t be able to follow through and the cancelation policy will apply, please note that nonrefundable rates require a payment of 90% at the time of booking and 10% at check-in. the remaining 10% will be charged at check-in, which must be done with the same card on which the initial 90% was paid. in case of non-presentation of the card, the customer must present another card which will be charged 100% of the stay and at the same time the 90% previously charged will be returned to the initial card, please note that if you need to add a vat number to the invoice of the pre-payment, you must inform the hotel at the time of the reservation, guests are required to show a photo identification and the credit card used in the reservation. should the credit card be different than the one used in the reservation, a new payment is required, and any previous payment will be canceled, according to the portuguese law, cash transactions are limited to a maximum of €3000 or its equivalent in foreign currency. when payment is done by individuals not residents in portugal and not acting as entrepreneurs or merchants, the limit is €10 000. for irc taxpayers, as well as irs taxpayers who have or must have organized accounting, payments of an amount equal to or greater than €1000, or its equivalent in foreign currency, must be made through a means of payment that allow the identification of the respective recipient. cash payment of taxes exceeding €500 is not allowed, salgados beach villas reserves the right to request a security deposit during check-in to ensure payment for any damages and/or losses of any equipment that is part of the villa's inventory. at check-in, guests will be asked for a security deposit, which can be paid in cash or by authorization of the respective amount on a credit card. the amounts vary according to the villa's typology:, villa v2 = €300.00, villa v3 = €400.00, villa v4 = €500.00, this amount will be refunded to the guest at check-out, after verification of no damages.guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply, please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation, payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. the property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
