Summary: Modern, stylish, spacious and well stocked villa with a great pool area offering fantastic views of Funchal. Quiet neighbourhood. Taxis (including Bolt) are a problem to order to pick up at the villa as they simply refuse to take the job. Perhaps this is only a problem for non Portuguese speaking guests who cannot properly explain where the villa is. An explanation of where the local bus stops are as well as a written instruction (in Portuguese) as to where the house is for guests to carry with them to show to taxi drivers for the return trip.
