Positive: The villa has a lot of charm and character. Our upstairs room was airy, comfortable, and very clean. It’s on the small side, but nicely arranged so there is enough space for everything. Breakfast was simple but freshly prepared with a personal touch. The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of cozy spots to relax, and the pool was always clean and never crowded. There is a supermarket and a restaurant within walking distance, and parking was always available if you rent a car. Best of all, the photos online actually match reality — a rare and pleasant surprise.

Negative: The green-ish studio room on the ground floor, where we spent one night, has separate shower and separate toilet, both divided from the room only by half-transparent glass doors. Two sinks to brush teeth etc are directly in the room. This is very impractical, smaller (and cheaper) rooms are actually much better in my opinion.

Summary: A unique and charming stay — perfect if you value atmosphere over modern comforts.
